Home in Raksi breeds Maine Coons. We are in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region, right on the edge of St Petersburg, and have been breeding since 2011. The breeder is Alla Gavrilova.

The cattery is registered with FIFe (Fédération Internationale Féline) and belongs to Cat-Club, the FIFe club in St Petersburg. It is also registered with WCF (World Cat Federation) and is a member of the RosKosh club in Moscow.

Every cat born here carries the cattery prefix Raksi Line*RU.

We sell to buyers from St Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, the rest of Russia and neighbouring countries.

The name comes from where we live, the old Raksi farmstead. Hence HomeInRaksi, a home in Raksi. The farmstead is now part of the town of Vsevolozhsk in the Leningrad Region, about 10 km from St Petersburg.

All our breeding cats are tested for genetic diseases, vaccinated on schedule and dewormed. All of them are clear of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM): each has either a genetic test or two clear parents. The adult cats' pages show their HCM, PKdef and SMA results and their heart scans.

Kittens go to their new homes no earlier than three months, with all vaccinations done. They are affectionate and use the litter box and the scratching post. Every kitten is sold with a contract.

What the owner gets

• a pedigree;
• a vet passport with vaccinations and parasite treatments recorded up to the handover;
• a contract transferring ownership of the kitten;
• open-ended support from the breeder: we stay in touch for as long as you need.

The breeder and owner of the cattery is Alla Gavrilova. She plans the matings, raises the kittens and stays in touch with owners after the kittens move. You can call any day of the week at a reasonable hour; we're on Moscow time (UTC+3).
